The vision for Hillcrest Pre-Primary School is to provide a pre-school education in a loving environment where children can grow and learn in all aspects of their development. We provide a stimulating, child centred programme nurturing good old fashioned values.

Our school motto is “Free to be me” and children are encouraged to do just that within secure boundaries!
Hillcrest Pre-Primary School opened its doors in 1977 and has a long and proud tradition of serving the Upper Highway community.
The school provides an education for children aged 2 to 6 years old in six classes.
Our youngest children in Grade 0000 and Grade 000 aged 2 to 4 years old have their own dedicated facilities and operate as “The Seedlings” – a school within a school.
Hillcrest Pre-Primary School boasts an outstanding Grade R programme that includes the “Time2Read” programme and is a feeder school to all the schools in the Upper Highway Area.
